- From my experience of regular exercise the past 27 years (running, walking, eliptical), it helps you feel better and reduces stress for a period of time. But as the article and others suggest, it doesnt relieve depression.

Lighten up. It simply amazes me how a negative response to a tasteless joke about the unwed daughter of a witless politician is championed. A fossil like Imus calling black women nappy headed hos is hardly an appropriate comparison. But then and again the virtue of a white woman or girl has always had a higher premium on it than that of a black woman or girl.
Thanks mrfoxy for reminding me that even the election of a black president does not help to diffuse the problems of race i this country. It is sad to know that people who champion the disapproval of a trivial joke about some an unwed white girl over the racist comments about women who are seeking college education and are not unwed mothers.

That is really balanced.
